Dorit holds the General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Practice. She very much enjoys the variety and challenges of all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery. Until recently, she used to own and compete horses, mainly partaking in the discipline of show jumping, and is currently maintaining her involvement in the sport through exercising her friend’s horses.
A lot of her spare time is spent on long walks with her gorgeous Border Collie Bryn, preferably with her family and friends.

She lives in a village in the Chalke Valley with her husband, two children and currently two cats, both ‘adopted’ through work. One has three legs and the other has one eye! Previously Rosie ran a smallholding with sheep, pigs, chickens, geese, turkeys, guinea fowl, a three-legged dog and a tame wild duck. In her spare time, Rosie enjoys running and is currently training for her first half marathon.
